Very easy family oriented walk/hike, accessing a small beach and picnic area with view of the bay. Dog friendly, but leash is required if hiking after 10AM.
Due to the proximity of to the bay, it can become icy and hard to walk on during winter after some snowy/rainy conditions. Use appropriate walking gear.
Lots of dogs roaming and playing before 10AM.

Best casual walk around the area. ❤️

By far my favorite walk around here. There's a trail along the bay and a trail cut through the fields. Extremely well maintained. My dog loves playing in the water, and all the other dogs and walkers are very nice. Never had an issue here, and I go often. Only downside is it can be busy depending when you go, but never overwhelming.

Great walk. Better knows as "Wagon Hill". A variety of well marked trails (Ie - wild rabbit, birds, monarch butterflies and of course - the trail around the lake). Nice views. Plenty of parking. Kid friendly, dog friendly (most on leashes - thank you!). The only con - highly populated.

Love this trail for a quick and easy hike with my dog. Most of the trail borders the Bellamy River, which provides great access for a quick swim for the dog. Great views of the river, the the bridge, and the airplanes flying in/out of Pease. Well established and marked, with parking at trailhead.

its a nice easy day hike/walk especially in the fall because of the foliage. only took me about and hour but i walk fast, nice little grove, and the trail literally "borders" the water.
