Swope Loop is a 1.5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Concord, New Hampshire that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Please note that the orange trail past the pond is private property.
Nice trail, a little slippery in spots, which are hard to see because of the new snow fall. Well marked. I took the left hand trail beginning so the view was 30 minutes into the hike vs 15 headed to the right. Beautiful view!!
Fantastic little hike. I got to see people of all ages, and capabilities on this trail. Lots of dogs and kids. A very friendly place to spend a little time. It was clean, well marked and definitely good for any level of hiker. OH, and the views were awesome. Such a blessing. I highly recommend it.
Pretty easy to do even for a beginner hiker. Or if you’re old and not in peak shape. Dogs are welcome on the trailer please pick up after them. I nearly stepped in a huge pile.
The trail was VERY rocky and steep but the pay out is worth it! I would not reccomend the trail for beginners or small children as there is some very narrow, rocky places...or without the proper footwear
A great beginner trail, made even better by the beautiful foliage. Enough to work up a sweat but not too difficult, an awesome trail!
So me and my family went to the swipe trail parking lot but we mistakenly went to the trail nearby called Winam trail or something like that, sadly we missed the great view of jerry Hill. Winam trail was good too but it doesn’t have a loop so you have to walk back unfortunately.
Great view of the lake. Super, super buggy though, make sure to load up on the repellent!
