We did all 3 trails since they converge together (Ecotone, Forest & Mt Fayal Trail)! To clarify - You access the trails by going through Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, which has a bunch of animals to see and was really nice, but it is $20 per adult. Bring bug spray! We were the only ones out there though, so we loved it! Definitely challenging & slippery in areas

Just to clarify, this is a Nature Center with outdoor animal exhibits, it requires a fee. A pretty easy walk with lots of interesting animals.

First to Review

We have been here twice now and can't wait to get back. There is something new and beautiful everywhere you look. The first time we went up the steep right hand trail to Mt Fayal summit and proudly made it! The second time we took the less steep left hand trail up, but took a wrong turn and ended up taking the "Forest Trail" which was much longer and taking the less steep trail down. Oh, well, it was beautiful and I wouldn't change a thing.
