My kids really liked this short hike. Once we heard the water falls we spent most of our time playing in the water. The entrance was within a camp ground. We parked just west of the campground at a pull off and hiked in from there (just east of pea brook ln).

A nice easy 20 minute walk in the woods to the Basin.

Heading east along Rte 2, you can park immediately before Pea Brook in the small pull off area ( big enough for 2-3 cars) and walk 100' east along the road to the trail head that brings you straight there.

We tried to find this trial to a "waterfall" today, but had difficulty locating it, due to it being on private property. When we did finally locate the trail head, it was through and behind a private camping area called "White Birch Campground" on route 2 about 4 miles east of Gorham, NH. I went in to the office to ask for the trail, the woman at the desk was not familiar with a trail by this name or a waterfall, but was familiar with a "swimming hole" at the bottom of a boulder stream called Shelburne Basin. It matches the location of the trail on this ap. After discussing with the women that we had to sign in and initial wavers we opted out. Maybe this would be worth a hike to a swimming hole in the summer. But we tossed the idea as we were looking for a moderate hike to a waterfall while we were in the area. Did enjoy the company and giving rides to the AT that us Gorham as a down day resupply local.

It was a moderate hike, and loved the waterfall along the trail.
