They are selling all the hard wood to unscrupulous lumber people and it has been massacred. It’s like a bomb went off. I’m very disappointed in the town/state for doing this.
In the summer months, it can be buggy, but the trails themselves are very nice. Be sure to take a look at the map before you head out on the trails, the trails are not well-marked. I have learned my way through the trails, but my first few times out, I did get lost once or twice. It's not too big though if you do!
Great trails. Just some markings are unclear and need to be remarked. Need to look at a map before going
muddy in parts but great day to get outside. Took the A trail to G back to A to the back. Then took a left onto I. followed the trail back to A back to the parking lot.
Not marked at all after about the first hundred yards or so got lost twice there’s a new trail L it’s just brand new it’s not even on the map thank God I ran into a couple guys that were cleaning the trail and they gave me directions not a good trail no markings whatsoever
Very easy trail system. A go-to when I need to be in the woods as it is very close. At times well marked however the back trails, it is easy to get confused and end up on the wrong trail. I don't feel that this is problematic as eventually, you will hit the main trail. I was here last week and the bugs were swarming. It made our nightly walk intolerable. Typically it isn't this bad.
