This trail branches off the Woodland Loop, passing through a damp hemlock forest with mossy rocks and thickets of giant rhododendron, a plant with large clusters of pale flowers and evergreen leaves. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire, and is an excellent place for walking, hunting, observing wildlife, and skiing. Great kid friensly walk. Trail markers are visible and eastly to follow. My 6 year old had a blast.
