This trail branches off the Woodland Loop, passing through a damp hemlock forest with mossy rocks and thickets of giant rhododendron, a plant with large clusters of pale flowers and evergreen leaves. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire, and is an excellent place for walking, hunting, observing wildlife, and skiing. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.

Be prepared. I would take water and some sort of energy bar. It was very difficult to follow, it doesn't tell you which way is out. You have three different colors they seem to intertwine with each other. Very easy to get lost. Parts of the trail was very difficult.
