Hiked in reverse: Anna-Mack-Klem-Rand-W. Quarry-E. Quarry-Straightback. Missed the turn off of W. Quarry to cross over on the Yellow blazed (Marsh Crossing) trail. The Quarry Mountains were difficult - the trails were not well marked in some areas and were very steep (put the trekking poles away and use your hands, kind of steep). Views were limited: there are vista views on Mack and Klem, but you have to out-and-back on the Round Pond trails to find them. Encountered only one other hiker (lightly trafficked). While missing the turn was frustrating to no end, the whole loop made for a great hike and was like a HIIT workout!
