Definitely not even remotely a hard hike. Very quick and easy although steep if you're going up the slopes, A little steep going up the dirt road as well but it's faster and easier than going straight up the ski slopes. Good small local hike for when you have limited time :)

Quick, steep hike. I'd rate it moderately difficult, it's not hard by any means.

Amazing trail! I do this loop a few times week if I can.

Pats peak has recently marked this with blue official trail markers. There are two loops near the top. The trail crosses some part of the lower ski trails so it's not uncommon to see people come through on skis and snowboards. Most times there are no other hikers on the trail. On a weekend, you might meet a few people out there. Dog friendly!!

There is no real path going up or down but everything leads to the same place at the top and bottom. An amazing view at the top little to no people and little to no bugs. We had a blast.
