HikingGreat!

Good trail for the family. Parking is limited and very popular. Busy at the top, but worth it.

Good nice hike. We did it after Morgan and Percival. Clearly a busy trail with lots of families. The views were worth it.

Beautiful. Our 2 year old hiked down, not sure he would have made it up! Perfect hike for little ones in a pack or out.

Easy climb up a path with no scrambling, sweeping views of Squam Lake. Parking only allowed in the two small lots and was full with a line at 10am on Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. We were lucky to park 0.5mi away at Percival trailhead because someone was leaving and we happened to snag it before everyone else. It was packed at the top and would have been difficult to social distance if they allowed cars to park on the road. Arrive early/late or have a backup hike.

HikingGreat!

Gorgeous views and awesome hike :) my second time doing it and I still can’t wait to go again. My tracker says it was 2.37 miles so I think the listing is a little off but it’s well worth your time.

This is a nice little hike. The trail is well worn and often wide for multiple parties. Took a few non-hikers and they did just fine. The views of Squam Lake are amazing. Just be wary of the parking situation: the lots here are small and fill very quickly and street parking is prohibited.

HikingGreat!

Nice easy trail, with gradual ascent to a great view at the top. 5 year old and 3 year old had a great time. The parking was a pain in the a55, but kind of expected for the holiday weekend. Had to do a couple of passes and wait for somebody to leave. Worth it though.

Awesome view is Squam lake from the top of West Rattlesnake mountain. I would recommend going early in morning to get parking space and avoid crowds

This is a great hike for beginners! Might have to take a few water breaks but that’s really it. It went by quick & the view was magnificent!
