Start on North Twin Trail, ascend North Twin, South Twin, and Guyot. Set up camp at the Guyot campsite and ascend West Bond, Mt. Bond, and Bondcliff, then hike back to the campsite. In the morning hike back to Guyot instead of heading back down the path with the Twins, ascend Zealand then Mt. Hale. At the top of Mt. Hale take the abandoned fire wardens trail back to North Twin Trail and walk back to the trailhead.

23mi 9h52m. unsure I'd recommend the deathmarch day trip to others! but doable. ascent up twins toughest part, plus return to bond from bondcliff. view of Whitewall and Zealand falls best part of later section. lend a hand thankfully mellow. warden's trail easy to follow, possible large bear in area.

great views at the tops. definitely not a day hike if your not physically prepared, so the guyot campsite is $10/night. this trail does loop around, although the fire wardens trail isn't much more than a footpath through the woods and there's no sign pointing it out. overall an amazing time

Does this trail actually connect into a loop? According to the topo there is no trail leading down the west side of Hale Mountain.

Cool trail with some great views. Many opportunities to hit the streams if your day is warm enough. Trails is well maintained . Not a lot of folks on the trail for a dry weekend.
