Nice easy hike up to North Pack. Definitely recommend continuing on to the Cliff Trail viewpoint (adds a total of 1 mile there and back). Note that maybe a quarter mile past the trailhead, the trail seems to continue straight ahead while the actual trails bears to the left.

Great little trail for a quick mid week climb. It was all snowpacked and easy walking with micro spikes. A little bit of views near and at the top. Beautiful spruce forest and wild rhododendrons growing here.

This trail is poorly marked and it was often difficult to know where to walk. Oftentimes, the trail markers would lead up steep rock inclines when it would make much more sense to just go around them on the dirt. We did this hike in late December, and it was extremely icy and dangerous in many parts. The view from the top was far from spectacular, although my understanding is that there is a nicer view a short walk from the summit (not included on this hike’s round trip route though). If planning to do this hike in winter, plan extra time to navigate safely across the icy rocks and to find the best view from the summit.

Fun hike, about 4 areas that require some climbing up rocks.

No charge to hike here. Think people are confusing Pack Monadnock at Miller State Park which has a fee. From Mountain Rd the Wapack trail leads to North Pack. You can continue on to Pack.

Use to hike pack a ton back when I was younger. Showed up and they’re charging you to hike!! I refuse to pay man for nature. Greedy. Off to a different trail head.

Great mountain, great hike, GREAT VIEWS! I parked at Mtn Rd parking area and went up Wapack Trail. It's a quick hike to summit. I then went down Carolyn's Trail over to Ted's. Some nice ledges and vista spots along Ted's. Then, the amazing cliff can be found at the Cliff Trail intersection. This is super nice with views south and SW to Pack Monadnock and Mt. Monadnock. Really nice this day with clear skies! I continued on Cliff Trail down and around and back up Wapack to the summit. A real treat!

The views are not the best, the terrain is fun. A few lookouts at the top and a couple openings as you get closer to the top. The ledge portion is fun to scale. This hike is perfect for warming to to larger hikes

Okay hike with some nice forest views, it’s worth it to go to the second summit as the first isn’t all that great of a view

the perfect 2 hr or less hike. during the week there are very few people. I recommend during the week. I used to come after work arriving at 6pm and finishing a round trip before 730. Small fee during the main season.

At the summit you want to hike over to the ledges. A short hike along a ridge adds about .5 miles to the whole hike. The ledges are well worth it!

Decent hike, however, the views on the summit aren’t that great. I have heard that there are other viewpoints near the top.
