Great hike, I only saw one other person on the trail, and it was a Saturday with very nice weather. A few muddy spots, but not terrible.

WORD OF WARNING: The trail head is about 1.5 Miles down an old logging road. The road is pretty beat up. I would not try to drive down it if you are not confident in your vehicles off-road capability or don't have good ground-clearance. I have a full-size truck with slightly oversized all-terrain tires, and there were a few points I felt the truck bottom out on the skidplate. I would NOT recommend trying to do it in a sedan or small SUV.

I saw some people parked at the beginning of the logging road, but that adds 1.5 Miles each way to your hike. (and an additional 500 feet of elevation)
