Fun trail wasnt difficult. I hiked up with my son. Spectacular views of the notch.

Lovely views! Especially in fall. Ranked 4 stars because it is highly trafficked, and can get congested going up and coming back.

Absolutely beautiful hike! Just a few minutes in you get to see a beautiful waterfall. When you break from the trees you see the most magnificent view of Franconia Notch. Mt. Willie on the right side of you and Mt. Webster on the left side. We went early and there wasn't many people. On our way down though....tons of people, babies, dogs. If you want some time to enjoy the view, go early. Enjoy!
