This trail takes you up a gravel access road to the top of the mountain. The trail isn't very long, but it is pretty steep until you get just shy of the top. From there you make a right and traverse along just below the crest and gently downward a short way. There is a place where the trees open and you can see the top of Table Rock. This section of ledges allows for some really nice sunset views to the west overlooking Rockingham, Bellows Falls, and Westminster, Vermont. There are several places along the traversing trail that hold water and the mosquitoes can be quite thick during the summer so bug spray or a Therma-Cell will come in handy. Overall this is a fun little hike that can be done in an hour or as long as you like. I often hike up prior to sunset and just relax and watch the sun go down.
