Parked at Church on 113, walked to side road then took left at mailboxes on to Ferncourt. Keeping heading straight down Red Trail (do not take right on Red Path), follow blue blazes. Trail begins on left before last house on the lane. Blue blaze is on telephone pole, across from pole is a blank sign (aged and faded). From there trail is well marked. Easy as described, several options or add-ones about halfway up. (Blueberry trail & Tilson trail on separate trails). We headed to Mount Katherine, 3 miles total trip. View is great. Quiet area. Vegetation interesting, deadfall but not at the summit.

We tried to use this trail in February, but there was nowhere to park. Anyone have luck locating parking?

Pleasant easy trail with nice ledge summit and view toward Chocorua. The trail that appears as coming out on the road appears to be private property though a wider logging road that goes down from the summit appears to be ok and unposted. The walk from the road back to the red trail start is about .8
