Hiked this according to this map the other day, be careful there are many branches along the loop and some turns you have to take into areas that are overgrown. Looks like maybe 10 years ago? this area was much clearer but now there are very little views. Mostly blocked by small growth trees, even at the summit. It was a lovely woods setting, but little pay off for the gain in elevation. There were plenty of trails in the area, maybe there is a clearing along one of them, but not on loop marked here. Oh, and the name seems to be fitting, lots and lots of moose droppings along the trail.

Right before the trail head dips down a bit so careful if you have a car, I bottomed out. That aside, not a bad hike. Lots of trails around there so Google Maps came in handy as well has taking a picture of the map at the trail head. Peak is very small but offers a fantastic view. Overall had the entire place to myself and very dog friendly.

Very neat little area. 4 small peaks on property , NH Forestry Service . Old ski area on Moose Mt. closed down in early 80's. Old farm site from mid1800's. Several ponds and brooks. Great place to take kids for a day trip. Parking lot and trail heads at end of New Portsmouth Rd. Brookfield N.H.
