A bit more icy than we were expecting, but we liked the challenge! Glad we wore our hiking boots!
This is a pretty nice trail for a city park although everything - the trail, bridges, streams, and bodies of water were covered in snow. There was a thick layer of ice beneath the snow on the trail which made it slippery at times. Further, the trail was uneven for the most part where people’s boots had caused sink holes which then froze. You had to really watch where you were stepping. Still I saw lots of people out walking their dogs or snowshoeing, and it seems to be a popular trail.
Beautiful and very well maintained park. Not much of a hike but you can take side trails to avoid the more crowded main trail, also to make it a tad more rustic feeling. Awesome foliage colors!
Great walk with awesome side trails! Main path is pretty crowded
Nice and easy trail for beginners. Saw a couple runners and 2 bikers. Everyone was polite and kept the social distance.
