my recording of This trail is only half (for the way down) because for some reason when we got to the top of the trail this app removed my recording. so it's a bit over 3 miles. great views at the top end of the trail. bring bug spray. was great for our dog and good for when you don't want to hike all day.

At a brisk pace, it’s a good warmup hike. Most of the trail is easier than moderate except for a brief steeper section. Even beautiful on a fog filled and rainy day!

Buggy. But nice brisk walk. Just enough elevation in the middle to get your heart pumping. Nice view at the end.

It was really really bad bug-wise and I went out on a fairly mild day. But as long as you kept moving the trail was very enjoyable, enough of an incline to feel like a workout even at a slow pace. Walking along tower road had more views and wildlife, though there was some good birding along middle mountain trail itself.

Mosquitoes were terrible. Signage was lacking and we got a little lost. But all in all it was a beautiful location with well groomed trails.

Great for a short hike. I was pleasantly surprised to find a ledge outcropping with a view. Always thought the view was poor. Neat red cedar on top as well with grasses mixed in the woods. Less traveled than most of the other trails. Would be better if we could connect it to the lower pond trail to make a loop.

Nice short winter hike. Snowmobile tracks ran the entire trail. We used microspikes as there was still the need for traction. Saw two snowmobilers, but no other folks out that day.
