Merrimack River - Franklin to Boscawen is a 11.7 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Franklin, New Hampshire that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for canoeing and whitewater kayaking and is best used from March until May. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is part of the Northern Rail Trail that follows the Merrimack River. It is mostly crushed granite. The trail has some interesting sites that are documented with signs posted by the historical society. There are several locations along the trail that one can launch a canoe or kayak.
