This trail is 9.2mi out and back not the 7.9 as advertised. The trail has had no maintenance in at least 5 years by the looks of it. Yellow blazes run out around 2 miles so you need to pay attention to stay on trail. Lots of trees across the trail and brush growing into the trail with a lot of loose debris. The view of the lakes from the top is awesome. Most of the elevation gain is in the last mile of the hike.
