The Kendal Lane begins at a gate found on Old Sullivan road and connects to the Clarence Jewett Loop. The Lane is an old woods road that was used as recently as the early 2000’s to harvest timber from the property. The easy path meanders through young woodlands and has an over story featuring red maple, paper birch, white pine, beech and hemlock. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy, and is an excellent place for walking and observing wildlife. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.
