This is a great trail and will take you all the way down to the shores of Lake Wickwas. It has several moderate inclines but not overly strenuous. The are two main vistas, one that looks to the northeast towards Mt. Washington and the white's and another that looks more to the east looking out to Lake Winnipesaukee.

Nice trail, easy to find, well marked. Enough elevation to get your heart rate up but not too bad, a lot of up and down. Took yellow to red and looped back to return on yellow. Beautiful view of snowcapped whites! Will probably go back and do blue and white.

Perfect day for hiking! Warm, but not too warm and cool enough that the bugs were history! Gorgeous views of Lake Wicwas and the mountains beyond, and a variety of terrain to enjoy. Lots of elevation changes to keep the cardio pumping, but also opportunities to catch your breath. Absolutely loved it. Can make the walk as short as you want or as long as you want! Lots of options with the trail system.

HikingGreat!

We hiked a 4.8 mile loop. Yellow to red. Very well maintained. There is a great spot to hop in the lake on the red trail. The Ancient Oak tree was cool. Not a strenuous hike at all. We were there on a beautiful Saturday in September and only saw 2 other people on the trails.

Very well maintained and marked trail system. Great fro Kids. Pretty easy to moderate based on the length. There are so many trails, you can customize it to your level. We have to go back because we missed missed the old oak tree. Highly recommend bug nets. Spray just isn't enough. Enjoy!

Not the most scenic of hikes but worth the trip. We only hiked the yellow and blue trails due to bugs. The trails were marked well and easy to follow.

This was an outstanding hike today! I am not sure where some of the other reviews actually hiked, but our adventure was terrific. We hiked the yellow trail to Crocket's Ledge then onto the red trail up to White Mountain Ledge. The view from both were spectacular with Mt. Washington in the background and bluebird skies. The Forest on the yellow trails was delightful and the Alpine fauna on the red trail beautiful. Somehow we missed the blue trail coming down, but took the blue lower loop when we came back down, making for a 4.5 mile hike. Nice cardio in places as well. The trails are well marked. No bugs.

We did the yellow to blue trails. We found the woods unimpressive, a bit boring like another recent reviewer said. It’s pretty dead looking, maybe when all the deciduous tres are in full bloom it will be nicer. Highlights include a decent lake view at Crocketts ledge and Eames pond has some pretty nesting swallows. Not eager to return. The trails aren’t well maintained, lots of dead leaves. Trails are well marked

This was a great day to visit Hamlin! No more snow on the trails, bugs not out yet! The spring peepers were so loud in some places. The woods were beautiful today.
