A lot of steep uphill. This will definitely work the legs.
Not much interesting about this trail. Had to bushwhack for a good view of the water.
Not good for running. Steep inclines with loose rocks and parts of the trail washed out. Day after it rained - very muddy and many deep puddles and runoff streams to navigate around and over. Tons of mosquitoes would be a problem if not running. There is one scenic area. And my dog loved the mud. But I won't be back. Not quite sure where the trail ends, but on this or another nearby trail that I connected to, there are sections right off the trail that have trash all over the place.
This trail is commonly referred to as "Gull Trap". My friends and I were expecting a little bit more a challenge. It was more of a nature trail than a hike. The way back had a few steep parts but overall the path was relatively easy. Takes about an hour. Good for a casual day enjoying the woods.
