Did this hike with my dad on sat aug 3. I've been as far as the hut last year. This time made it to the summit. It was cold and windy at the top out of the trees. Great day hike. Took it easy and made it up and down in just under 8 hours. Amazing view from summit! Well worth it.

Awesome hike,Eagle Pass and beyond have great views.Some steep trail sections but a great day hike.
