Really beautiful, lush forest and shrubbery. Well marked trail. Follow yellow markers. No bugs at all. Summit a disappointment as there is no view at all. Giant split boulder there is interesting. Had I known, I would have reset my expectations. Almost to the summit off to the right, there is a narrow view of another mountain. Side loop to pond very pretty near beginning of trail—follow blue markers to it. You will enjoy if this is what you are looking for and expect. Easy hike—about an hour total.

Great for kids. Moderately buggy. Totally worth it!

Snowshoeing
First to Review

Yesterdays rain reduced the snow pack significantly but there was still 4 to 5 inches along most of the trail, there were a couple of spots that had ground water and crossed one small running brook. Temp was in the 40's and it was cloudy. The views were not very good but it was a quick trip and good to be out doors.
