Faraway Mountain and Mount Roberts Loop is a 7.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Moultonborough, New Hampshire that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and snowshoeing and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

We just hiked up to the Faraway viewpoint and came back the same way as there was snow and ice at the top. We had done Roberts in the past and it’s quite steep without crampons in snow and ice. Made the trek a little longer - almost ten miles. Relatively easy hike as most of it is walking up an old carriage road
