Directions from Kancamagus Highway (SR 112), NH: The northern trailhead is located about 1 mile east of the Big Rock Campground on SR 112 at the Hancock Branch Bridge / Otter Rocks Roadside Rest Area. The southern trailhead is located in a small parking area along a gravel road which runs off Tripoli Road approximately 5 miles east of I-93.

Due to the heavy rainfall and warm temperatures yesterday, and today's freezing temps, we couldn't safely make it across the water crossing when we came in from the Kancamangus side.

Did this hike with my family in August and it was great. Crossing the river eas an adventure. Not too much incline at any point and the dogs loved it.

Not too much verticle. A little hard to follow in places. The forrest is beautiful and the veiws.
