Directions from Salt Lake City: Access #1: Follow Mill Creek Canyon Road (3800 South Wasatch Blvd.) about 3.2 miles up the canyon to the Box Elder Picnic Area on the south side of the road at the trailhead sign. Access #2: The remaining access points are from other trails. Mill Creek Canyon: Porter Fork Trail, Bowman Fork Trail, and Big Water Trail. From Big Cottonwood Canyon: Mill B North Fork Trail, Butler Fork Trail, and Mill D North Fork Trail. Bikes are allowed through this access, but they are not allowed once they reach the wilderness area.

tough climb from backside coming out of pemi wilderness. fire tower at peak has great views. Bring water and leave little ones at home. some technical areas on less traveled backside.
