Mount Cube approach trail. "This trail provides the shortest approach to Mt. Cube. Formerly known as the South Cube Trail, it was extensively relocated in 2001-2003 to eliminate a steep and eroded section. The relocated sections are skillfully built and provide more pleasant hiking with moderate grades, good footing and two viewpoints." -Steve Smith

Pretty easy hike but I think the mileage was a bit off. Trailhead said 2.0 miles. Wound up being 7.9 out and back with a jaunt over to the north peak
