Clarence Jewett Trail is a 1.3 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Keene, New Hampshire that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
The forested Clarence Jewet loop crosses a rocky stream and pushes deeper into the interior of the Otter Brook Preserve. The stream hosts Clarence Jewett’s locally famous bathtub, a rock lined pool in the stream. Observant visitors may notice the bear marked large red pines that line the trail. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy, and is an excellent place for walking and observing wildlife. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.
