What a little gem. Looking for a neat flat loop alongside water Heron cove, pocket beaches and a boardwalk through the swamp this is it. We even ran into a wedding on the beach. Great little walk.

Nice easy trail that’s great for all ages esp kids. Beautiful lake views and could hear the loons which was fantastic. So many different areas to explore it’s a great adventure for a few hours.

Very easy trail. A little bit of everything. It is pretty busy, lots of kids and dogs. Not much of a workout, but a beautiful relaxing walk in the woods and by the lake!

A few narrow spots, the swampy area had a lot of bees but no worries if you keep moving

Beautiful trail. Pine needle carpeted. Lake views. Boulders and interesting vegetation. Perimeter trail is 3.2 miles. I do not understand why this app says it’s 2.3 miles!

I'm a big fan of this area, It was a good cool down hike from my hike on Israel mountain the day before. Sadly i did get turned a round a bit and my phone died with my overlay recording.

Beautiful easy trail. Muddy in many places but nothing you cannot navigate. We ventured off the trail many times checking the campsites and swimming areas which made it even more beautiful.

Parked in the larger west lot, which was pretty full, but people were dispersed throughout the trails, so it wasn't too bad. We did the full 3.4-ish mile walk around the perimeter and it was actually a wonderful walk with great footing and lots of water views. Also lots of opportunities for our dog to take a dip, but did have to rescue her once because she couldn't climb out along a rocky section of the shore. We had just had about 4 days of continuous rain, so there were some damp and muddy spots, but lots of rocks, roots and appropriately placed boards helped us navigate the wetness. The boardwalk through the wetlands, was awesome! Someone obviously put in a lot of time, thought and effort into building that! Turns out this walk is now one of our new faves... We'll be back!

It was a super hot day. But we got to fish in a couple spots, got 2 pretty niced sized bass. Went off the trail a bit to get back to the car a bit quicker. Overall a really nice hike. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a shaded walk in the woods with some nice lake side fishing.

Great trail for running. Lots of varying terrain and a cool bridge trail. There where a couple muddy sections but there where plenty of logs and rocks to make it so you didn’t get too dirty. The part along the water was my favorite.

Nice and quiet today - generally dry and limited bugs. What else can you ask for? Always a nice little stroll through the woods - good for the whole family!

This is the second time we’ve hiked here this month. It has become a favorite for our kids. Our 3 year old son walked half and rode on shoulders for the other half. Love this place!!
