This was my second visit to Blue Job. The first time was about a month ago and I took the trail to the left up to the summit, then over to the Fire Tower. Today I took the Fire Tower trail first, then over to the summit. Lots to see both times...lady slippers, mountain laurel, blueberries, salamanders, frog and lilies at the pond. Views are just great! An enjoyable place to be!

Would consider it to be an easy trail rather than moderate. The climb to the tower has some incline but after which is more or less easy. The trail is not well marked on onside. Parking can be an issue. Not sure if you can park your cars on the road.

Lots of cars at the trailhead, but not overcrowded at all. Fairly easy for a “moderate” trail. Beautiful forests with blueberries and various flowers. Good loop for kids and dogs (on a leash). Worth the trip.

Hiked on a Monday, almost had the trail to ourselves. It was a great moderate trail with small patches of steep hike. Little bit buggy. Recommend taking the fire tower loop to the pond trail and then taking that to the summit! The trail markers get alittle confusing as there are off trail paths. Follow the rock pilings. Saw some kind of bright orange salamander type animal! Recommend picnic on top it’s flat and beautiful scenery!!!

I would recommend this trail for people who are looking for a quick and mild workout. I'm not in great shape, neither is my husband, but we did 4 miles in about an hour and 15 mins at a 3.1mph pace. We did stop to enjoy the GORGEOUS panoramic view. Shit ton of bugs, bring lots of repellant. Overall, we enjoyed it! We started around 4:30pm on a Sunday afternoon and only saw 3 or 4 people. 10/10 recommend

The GPS took us on an adventure to get there, lol. We got lost on an atv trail but eventually found the trail head. The views were beautiful and the breeze once up in the tower was amazing and felt so good.

Beautiful day! Lots of people in the parking lot but the trails were not crowded! Few bugs, dogs enjoyed a swim in the pond. We only did little blue job cause we had the dogs (not trying to climb the tower with them).

Wonderful loop that’s quite scenic on a clear day. Got the last parking spot at 8 am on a Saturday morning.

Really lovely trail! I would consider it on the easy side of moderate, but enjoyed this a lot. There were loads of side trails to explore and so much to see. The pond was a nice surprise and the Little Blue Job summit had a beautiful panoramic view. Would definitely recommend and will be hiking it again!

Really fun and easy hike. Great payoff with excellent views. We got an excellent sunset on our evening hike. A little dark on the way down. We went by fire tower and continued by pond to bald knob for the panorama. Saw some nice wildlife on ride up....a fox kit and a snapping turtle.

Fairly steep & rocky if you start by going up the right side. Lovely views from both the fire tower & the summit!

This is a great hike for the effort involved. Although the elevation is small, along the walk between the summits of Blue Job and Little Blue Job, one gets the feeling of the higher mountains up north. There are quite a few herd paths on LBJ, so keeping an eye out for blazes is important. We went up BJ by the North Summit Trail, across to LBJ, and down by the Perimeter Trail (which had no blazes at all). It's not a wilderness experience--there's a large house situated right behind the trailhead kiosk--but at times it can feel like one.

Took the south tower loop, quite steep and rocky on the ascent but the views are worth it. Make sure to check out little job summit for a 360° view of the area.

There is something new and beautiful at every turn, from a lake to a fire tower to a little summit where you can see the whites. There’s little deer trails and other trails that veer off the main path all over the place, which makes it a little hard to navigate (even though they’re super cool), but once you hike it once it’s pretty easy to find your way. Only four stars because it’s a bit buggy.

Managed to stay socially distant even though the parking lot was busy. Avoid the fire tower - busy busy.

I haven’t hiked Blue Job in a few years. I was a not surprised to see a house, right in front of the parking lot. It’s a beautiful house, but odd. Took our doggies up today. Was an easy trail to stay on. Started on the North loop up to the tower. The hike stared out a tiny bit wet and elevated quickly through the trees and rocks. Once at the tower, it was a good area to take a quick break until making our way to the back side of the loop where it was again rocky but not steep. We made our way around the pond and back down the forest side (I called it) which was a little extra muddy, back to the parking lot. A great morning hike!

Busy place on the weekends so I’d suggest getting there early or going during the week. Beautiful view at the top!
