Nice quick hike to summit with great views. Good if you're short on time or for a sunset.

Great views covering 270 degrees of the surrounding valley from the top of Bald Mountain. Artist's Bluff has some amazing views as well but it is blemished by how close it is to the interstate and the noise. If you don't want to climb all the way to Bald Mountain Artist's Bluff going counter clockwise is not as high and still offers better views of Echo Lake than Bald Mountain.

Nice short hike with some views overlooking the Notch. Pack a lunch and have it on the weathered bluff.

Nice very easy and fast rewarding hike! Wish I could hike longer but its a little one that you must do in the area. 15 minutes to the top!

Just do the part that goes to Bald Mountain. The "artist loop" is a lot of up and down that leads to a rocky overlook of noisy Highway 93. Balsam firs, red spruce, paper birch, striped maple.

Short, accessible, and well-marked trail. Rock steps and roots. Not ideal for trail running but a pleasant hike with rewarding views of Canon Mountain. I had the trail to myself before 9am.
