Fun, quick hike close to home. Good views from Bald Knob and at a few other points along the trail. Viewpoint just before Crosby is the best during the whole trip. Easy to moderate grade the entire trip. Trail is pretty well maintained, no major blow downs, mostly dry, a few places that are a bit overgrown but nit many. Overall, great lesser known hike!

I wouldn’t quite say this route is moderate, the majority of the climb is fairly steep until mt. Crosby’s summit. The lookout isn’t that great tree line covers it to much, best type of hike if your trying to get a workout in and hike a rarely hiked trail!

because of how muddy and wet it was decided not to go all the way to the top. but my dog had a blast none the less. will definitely do again once it gets a bit drier
