Fairly easy hike with terrific views of Echo Lake and the ski trails at Cannon. Plenty of parking. In warmer weather, you can go for a post-hike swim.

Nice family hike with nice views. Fairly slippery today due to ice on the trail. Also fairly windy near the top- 25-35 mph estimated wind gusts so wind chill was 13 degrees F.

Beautiful fall hike! Started around 11am from the Echo Lake parking lot and ended at 1pm in the Cannon overflow lot. Great day for hiking and only came across a few other people so not crowded at all! Perfect for tiring out the puppy!

lovely view.
park at echo lake and you cross the road and the trial head is on your left just past the road barrier. I think you should start the loop from the left as we went right but at the top couldn't see the connecting loop so just went out and back. it is a lovely view and worth the climb but it is a climb!

Not a good trail for someone with knee issues. You basically climb straight up a jumble of boulders. Descending the rubble is tricky, too. Take a hiking stick.

Great views but blemished by the highway. Very quick trail especially if you park at Echo Lake State Park. The loop trail fairly easy hiking.

Short but moderately difficult hike. The views are great. Probably wouldn’t be the best on a super rainy day.

Great hike took a five year old and he loved it !!

We didn't go left to Bald mtn thinking artists bluff would be easier...it isn't an "easy hike" more like moderate. I don't think taking young kids would be a good idea.

Nice quick hike to summit with great views. Good if you're short on time or for a sunset.

Easy hike for all ages. Path is well kept and well marked. Amazing views, enjoyed catching some rays of sun while sitting on the bluff. Will try to do this one again on the fall

Great views covering 270 degrees of the surrounding valley from the top of Bald Mountain. Artist's Bluff has some amazing views as well but it is blemished by how close it is to the interstate and the noise. If you don't want to climb all the way to Bald Mountain Artist's Bluff going counter clockwise is not as high and still offers better views of Echo Lake than Bald Mountain.

Short hike! Definitely steep in spots, but nice view for not much effort. Bluff itself is large. Quite a drop off if you walk out to the edge!

Nice short hike with some views overlooking the Notch. Pack a lunch and have it on the weathered bluff.

Nice very easy and fast rewarding hike! Wish I could hike longer but its a little one that you must do in the area. 15 minutes to the top!
