A very nice hike to do at different speeds. Some people use the paths for jogging and some for observing nature. No dogs or bikes allowed in the preserve because of the wildlife. If you're quiet you'll see rabbits, quail, ducks, cranes, coyotes, fish, turtles and frogs and maybe some other animals. Mosquito repellent is suggested. Be respectful and don't litter or damage the park and it'll be nice for everyone for a long time to come.

Beautiful, easy, well maintained trail I just wouldn’t do it alone. I have found homeless guys sleeping there. Would be nice if they allowed bikes and dogs.

It was nice, multiple routes to take, paved. River, bunny’s, road runner. Fun

Easy walking paths. Very relaxing and very zen day.

The Nature Preserve has easy, flat, paved trails, with some well maintained unpaved paths: No bikes or dogs in Nature Preserve If you have a bike or dog: park at Neighborhood Park and take Monson Trail to the “Big Bridge” and go to the east side of the park. Paved road bike trails for miles, many off road trails for mountain bikes, you can walk or ride down by wash: Good birding. Also good birding off Galleria Drive at Pabco or Wells trail heads. It is the desert (wetlands only because of reclaimed water) take water and dress appropriately. No water or restrooms on east side of bridge.

Great trail!! I highly recommend this for adults and kids at any age. It has such a good view of the creeks and rivers. The whole trail is paved and flat so it was very easy and felt like a light stroll. Even though it was very chilly the time we went it was worth it.

Nice, clean easy hike. Beautiful views and a lot of bugs near the water. Detailed maps available to trailers on paved trail near the Nature center. Large piles of scat with seeds/nuts etc in them not sure from what animal (Coyote? Bobcat? I don't know).

I loved it. It so big. Most trails are closed off cz of overgrown trees, such a shame. I didn't really like the pavement build. Maybe cz i didn't expect it to be there. This is not for people who like hiking.. Its just a walk, no elevation whatsoever. Saw ducks and some birds.

Very easy, family friendly trail. went early enough in the morning to avoid heat and catch site of several creatures, blue heron, rabbit, quail, roadrunner. Would definitely walk this trail again.

Part of the trail was close but was fun

Great short paved walk. Nice scenery, you hear nothing but nature and running water. Our 4 year old led the way and had a blast doing it.

Awesome trail! Make sure you go during daylight or else you could get lost! If you can always find the bridge, you will be ok! Free trail maps available, and as far as biking is concerned, kinda challenging, but not too terribly difficult. We loved it and cant wait to get back! You cant ride bikes on the nature trail, but go to the start of the trail when you first turn in by houses. Its called neighborhood park. Enjoy!

Great trail on the Wetlands side. Not no much on the Sunrise Trailhead side. Does anybody know why the Trailhead park is closed?

Well maintained, half paved/half dirt trail, lots of rabbits, large fish in the water, 2 coyotes about 200 feet from the trail, large foliage. Easy and worthwhile

Definitely a fun short trail to try out. It can get pretty hot around late morning if there is no sun.
