Great urban trail! Relatively easy and flat for most of the trek. Good views of Reno, the river terraces, and foothills.

Pretty mild most of the hike, decent incline and decline. Not much shade.

Beautiful views, can add optional uphills to make it tougher. Dry and no shade, so make sure it’s not too hot. Today it was beautiful but a little challenging for my dog.

HikingGreat!No shade

Trail was completely dry and fast, also brush on the sides was cleared over the winter season. Steam Boat Ditch/Hole-in-Wall canal was also closed for the winter months. No color yet but soon.

A great place for a quick hike with a decent view. No shade in the warmer months so wear a hat.

Great little hike to shake the cobwebs out. VERY muddy at the moment so bring adequate footwear. Dropping a star for conditions but I enjoyed the views and the difficulty level was ideal for me who is trying to ease back into hiking.

Lot of mud but beautiful trail! Plenty of smaller trails to make it shorter or longer if desired.

Excellent conditioning and morning/afternoon hike. Just outside of town, easy access and near river. Arrived at 9:30, not crowded. 2 hours later upon leaving, lot was full with cars down the street. Some have dogs off leash and out of control just FYI.
