Great little trail, named for primary trail builders of local BLM, USFS lands. Almost every trail in Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston, Kyle, and Lee Canyons can be enjoyed thanks to these hard-working young people. This trail is named for SMYC and it is a great way to honor Clark county's rehabilitation program for troubled children. You won't need any help following this trail - it is lined with rocks as it crosses the wash, and cut through deep red soil along the slopes, even having stone steps to assist in loose footing and steep climbs.

A great, short trail that you can string together with Dale's trail or Ice Box Canyon if you want something longer.

Early spring is a great time as there is lots of water at the falls on the top

Hiked this trail yesterday...It was a nice hike...Kind of got off trail on to another trail and ended up walking around a small hill and back up the wash to where we parked the car...
