The road in is narrow, with sharp rocks and a couple areas that put vehicles at steep angles towards the drop to creek. There are very few opportunities for passing and almost no way for either party to safely backup to one. The trail is poorly marked, overgrown in some places, needs some trail bed work and has quite a few fire killed snags either across the trail or close to it. There are also quite a few head of cattle that criss cross the trail and should take care not to spook them. After all that the views were amazing and the hike was a great workout. If there are any trail clubs in the area this would be a great project trail.
