Pros: View is perfect. Beach looks perfect. It’s quiet and serene. Cons: bathrooms onsite in October smell of heavy bleach and lack running water in the sinks.

Nice walk on a Saturday morning. Park at the incline village end of the trail and walk to Sand Harbor will save you $10 on parking. There was a $2 per person walking entry fee, but could have been the holiday. Lot of bikers, but they were all polite. Several clean restrooms along the trail.

It's a little pathway near the lake. You have to pay $10 but you can go to other park nearby (Spooner lake) the same day for free with the same ticket.

it's a little pathway in a state park area. $10 parking fee was a bummer but the beach was beautiful and easy to strole around. very crowded with tourists.

We did this trail on Easter morning. There were quiet a few other people on the trail, but wouldn't call it overcrowded. Nice easy walk that our 2 year old was able to handle.

Lovely walk along the water with beach access in a couple of places. Beautiful and meditative with benches strategically placed to take in the Lake Tahoe beauty. (We visited in late Fall, during the day on a week day). Looking forward to visiting again.

You have to pay $12 to get into the state park which was a downer!

Gorgeous place. Best beach I know of in Tahoe. Not really a hike though.

A short but very picturesque boardwalk around the main peninsula at Sand Harbor. There are a number of signs that provide a lot of information about many aspects of the lake. Be sure to explore the park further, including the beautiful sand beach (there is a second smaller beach by the boat landing) and the wonderful rocky shoreline. I loved climbing some of the boulders on the edge of the lake to get some unique views. I picked a good time to visit, as I imagine this is a very popular place in the warmer months.
