Easy and short walk, but you can add some challenge if you want to climb some of the rocks. Beautiful area with picnic tables and restrooms and some signs about the local geology. The trail is hard to follow. One can't really get lost as the parking lot is in view, but it's difficult to tell which way is the established path. In places the trail is clearly marked, but much of it is not and so people pretty much wander the desert, at least judging by the footprints we saw.
