There's no parking for the trailhead at Madeline Jane lane. There's a new development and parking is only for residents. The trail can be accessed from the Sports Complex off N. Virginia. It's the same trail as Evan's Canyon trail.

Its a nice hiking area and if you have time to kill and want something nice and easy, there are trails for you. If you want to push yourself and run uphill, there are also trails for you.

Lovely hike! The trails are a little confusing as they’re not all marked or called the same. Still a nice hike tho.

I really enjoyed this hike. It was SUPER windy, so I plan to try it again when the weather is better. Lots of mountain bikers, very few hikers. It was difficult to follow the trail because of many intersecting trails. I had to keep AllTrails open to follow the map, which is annoying - who wants to be on their phone while hiking!

A main walk through.

Great trail, lots of canyon trail. Bird watching opportunities. Keep referencing map to stay on right trail. Keep and eat out for bikers to make sure you get out of the way.

Not a lot of shade and do not recommend for smaller children. But great if you’re a runner or biker

Great workout. Streams have washed out the trail in some sport, so you have to walk thru the stream bed. Be prepared for muddy feet.

This trail was pretty easy despite being 7 miles. The uphill in the beginning was a little challenging and you might take the wrong path if you don’t pay attention to the map! I had to cross a creek at least 14 times, so make sure to have waterproof shoes or boots!

Great trail from someone from the Midwest. a lot of different options to choose from once you start. Moderate elevation changes which lead to a pretty nice view of downtown Reno. Very enjoyable.
