COVID Lockdown Hike #19. We finally got to do this hike after trying about a month ago only to find the Lake Mead National rec Area was closed. It reopened only to pass holders about a week ago, so we decided to hike this trail before it got too hot. We did a 6 mile out and then back to the car for a total of 12 miles. It was an OK trail. 99% of it was in a wash where it was soft sand and not a lot to see. When you were able to get out of the wash, there were some nice rock formations. But this wasn't our favorite trail compared to some others in the Vegas area. It's not too difficult. We did see a fleeting glimpse of a Bobcat, which was awesome sauce.

One of my absolute favorite hikes near Lake Mead. the trail is relatively easy to follow, but it's very easy to get sidetracked as amazing rock formations are all around you
