It was hard to follow the trail at times, but the rocks behind the hill we looped around were very cool. Totally exposed desert most of the time, so be prepared!

This is one trail, within the Valley Of Fire, that I will not be repeating. I tried this in July 2017 and found that it appeared to be a flat dry wash. The underfoot material is thus gravel and stones. Uncomfortable to walk upon and there is little interest in the flat hike in the hot July sun.
Unlike the remainder of hikes in the Valley Of Fire, there is no remarkable scenery.
It is, to me, just a hot trudge and I was glad to leave it.
Such a shame as this hike is so untypical of the rest of the State Park, which is unbelievably beautiful.
