Enjoyable but steep trail accessing the Peavine Mountain foothills from the south via various Foresty and 4x4 trails. The climb takes you to a plateau with great views of surrounding Mountains as well as access to Peavine Peak Road.

Off road driving should be removed from this trails description. It is not permitted and there are boulders at the the trailhead preventing vehicles from entering.

Just suggested an edit for the trailhead location for this. The entry at Poeville Ln. is blocked off and you cannot enter here with a vehicle (hiking only). Entry is about 10 min east at the top of Kings Row street.

Trail was fun and a few challenging obstacles. Definitely need a high clearance 4x4.

Lots of wild flowers in bloom. Ran across a Jeep and a homeless guy walking down from the peak.

The staging point for off road driving is on Avenida De Landa where it turns into Las Brisas. Look for the sign in the picture. All other entrance points are blocked off. Fun trails. We didn't have a lot of time to explore so we'll be back for sure.

HOT the day we went, no shade so we took an umbrella and lots of water. Great views!
