Lovely afternoon and easy to find trails to follow. (It’s so much more work than downhill skiing though)!
A Winter Wonderland on snowshoes!!! Thanks to All Trails we stayed mostly on the trail but one detour actually lead us to a peak with amazing mountain views! We really want to come back and see it in the Summer.
Not much to see, just treading through the woods in the snow. Easy to get lost in the smaller trails.
It is a nice flat trail. If you hold seeds in your hand during the winter birds will come and eat from it
Nice hike it’s all downhill to get to the lake and all uphill on the way back. Lovely day out, about five hours round-trip taking it easy
This was a lovely, shaded trail and not busy (possibly due to the smoke from the California fires right now). It stayed surprisingly cool during our hike around the loop with pretty bits along the creek as well through the trees. Other hikers were friendly and parking was easy.
Very steep for last 2 miles to lake. But beautiful terrain. Gorgeous meadows, flowers, lots of creek water.
