Enjoyed this hike! Great trail for when you are working up to hike to the summit! When I arrived at Mummy Springs, I saw some campers in an ideal area for a night on the mountain. I saw some other hikers on a trail beyond Mummy Springs so I ventured into that trail for a little way. My Garmin measured 8.1 miles for my hike. Still a little water dripping from the springs.

Great trail overall. Moderate amount of switchbacks that bring you up to some great views. The Raintree is a great sight and the junction where it's located gives you lots of options for other trails. Went in early June '18 and there was but a trickle at the spring, but water none the less.

The trail round-trip is approximately 6.5 miles. Very challenging going uphill on Canyon Trail. Once you reach the junction, hike towards Raintree and Mummy Springs is not as bad. The springs during this time could be seen from a distance, but only droplets.
