Monkey Rock is a 2.6 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Incline Village-Crystal Bay, Nevada that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
April 11, 2021Short easy hike to the top. Beautiful view. Trail has options to continue on up the mountain so watch the app to make sure ya don’t take the wrong turn. Moderate traffic on a Saturday around 11am.
April 9, 2021The trail was well trafficked and nice and wide. Very well groomed. Take a left after the incline to get to monkey rock. The views are beautiful! The cafe at the bottom of the trail head is worth checking out.
April 8, 2021It was our first hike as a family. Its does get steep, but that means you're almost there. Its such an amazing view and well worth it. We hiked with our 6yo and he did just fine with all the kid energy he has. I do reccomend going early, as we did hit the hike at 1030 on a Wednesday morning, and on our way down lots of people were heading up!

March 21, 2021March 20, 2021March 18, 2021March 13, 2021Awesome views of the lake from the end! A must do hike if you're staying around Incline Village. Be sure to snag a picture with the monkey. It gets steep for a bit but nothing too strenuous if you're in somewhat decent shape.
