Great short hike that can be a good workout. Many ways to climb up to the summit. If you park on the west side trail head, you can get an estimate on how busy the trail will be by the number of cars parked there. From the parking area on the west side, it’s .66 miles to get to the top, same coming down, and 2.2 miles to go around the mountain.

On the east side is an equestrian park with bathrooms and parking. Using the trail around the mountain from there is a good warm up before heading up the mountain.

The trail head needs a sign reminding people to take out any trash they bring in. I’ve picked up discarded plastic water bottles and beer cans.

the crushed rock track around the mountain is well maintained and allows you to stretch out and run like you are on the road. the mountain section is very fun and has a few routes up and down.
