You can run just the loop without the summit hike if you want, which is what I did. Beautiful sunrise views.

Don’t underestimate this trail. The view at top is rewarding. The climbing is challenging but nothing more then moderate.

Great trail. Lots of poop everywhere because people don’t pick it up. Went in the evening when it was cooler. Great walk

Easy walk around the mountain, except the part leading to the peak. Loose rock makes it less safe.

the trail at the bottom, around the mountain. easy. all open, no shade, easy path, don't go when it's super hot. the hike up the mountain, is steep, has loose rock. just be careful when you reach top. it's all open and you could fall, if not careful. but, there's a great view looking out at Vegas in all directions!

A little steep for a 4 year old but he made it. A couple of different places to park, at the park its self or on the backside, its closer to the trail. No shade, its a hot one go early.

Quick little climb, a lot of glass on the lower part of the trail. Also a lot of people on a Saturday morning. But overall a good hike.

Love this trail ! If you want to walk you can do that. If you want to trail run, you can do that. If you want to hike at a moderate incline, you can do that. Not much scrambling but it’s cool. Nice views. This has everything !

Went to the summit for the first time today with the family. Unfortunately, it was hot as hell so we were exhausted! But I can imagine how wonderful this trail is with cooler temp outside. We definitely were not prepared for it. However; the trail was clear and easy to follow. There is a bench about a third of the way up; which was great for my little one to take a break. There was so many lizards on the trail which my daughter loved to see. But yes, there is also broken glass on your way up so stay safe.

Nice and easy loop around Lone Mountain. Gets crowded later in the day and harder to maintain 6 feet away from people. Lots of strollers and dogs.

Lots of broken glass around the base of mountain and at the base of the trail as you try to work your way up the mountain. The glass is significant and poses a risk to children/dogs. Recommend no dogs or dogs with boots.

The loop around the mountain is flat and easy for most people. The climb up the summit is easy to get hurt, especially if windy. Either way, the trails are awesome with beautiful views. Use the app’s directions, will lead you to a dead end with parking on gravel. Start of trail is visible from parking.

I really enjoyed this hike, it hits the spot no matter what you're looking for. You can take an easy loop around the base on a wide and gravely path - or you can hike up to the summit. This trail has some route finding, and can be a little slippery at times, but the view of the city is worth it and the workout is great. Rock climbingScramble

This is the best route to Lone Mountain, don’t attempt if you haven’t rock climbed there is a chute that someone has to climb up and place webbing. Don’t use the thin rope already there.
